Former chief justice Mohammad Fazlul Karim passed away at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday. He was 81.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the hospital around 4:45 am, as per media reports.
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Justice Fazlul Karim and prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at 1:30 pm today, said the reports citing Supreme Court administration.
