Detectives in a drive arrested Moin Abdullah, son of former Chief Whip Abul Hasnat Abdullah, from a house in the city’s Gulshan-2 area early Saturday, reports UNB.
Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed the arrest in the morning.
A team of DB police conducted a drive in the area around 3:30 am and arrested Moin, nephew of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
He was wanted in several cases filed with different police stations in Barishal.
