Four platoons of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were deployed in the capital’s Mohakhali area on Monday to maintain law and order.
The decision was taken following a blockade programme enforced by the students of the Government Titumir College demanding upgradation of the college to a university.
The paramilitary force in a short message service (SMS) confirmed their deployment at Mohakhali area this afternoon.
