Four, including two army men, held while ‘preparing for robbery’

Police arrested four people, including two army personnel, as they were allegedly preparing for a robbery in Dhaka’s Moghbazar area on Tuesday night.

Three others, including two army personnel, managed to escape, Prothom Alo reports citing Banani Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge Rasel Sarwar.

The arrested army personnel were handed over to the military authorities, while the two other suspects produced before the court and placed on a three-day remand, Sarwar added. 

He did not disclose the identities of the suspects. 

Legal action is being taken against the arrested army personnel, according to a source from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
