A healthcare booth has been set up at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to provide primary medical services to hajj pilgrims.

Pilgrims will receive medical consultations and necessary medicines for free directly from the booth at the airport, says a press release.

This initiative has been organised by an organisations of United Healthcare, United Medical College Hospital, in the capital.

This year’s hajj flights are scheduled to begin on April 29. The healthcare booth started operating on April 28 and will remain open 24/7 until the return of the last hajj flight in July.

Pilgrims can access free healthcare services and required medications any time before their departure.
