Kaushik Hossain Taposh, the managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) of music-focused television channel Gaan Bangla, was arrested on Sunday night.
The musician was arrested from the Uttara area of Dhaka in a case filed under the Uttara East police station.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Uttara Division Rownak Jahan confirmed the information.
