A gas cylinder explosion at a food shop in the capital's Keraniganj has left three people dead.
At least eight others have been injured in the blast that occurred around 7 PM on Saturday in the Ramerkanda Boarding area of Keraniganj.
The identities of the deceased and injured could not be disclosed immediately.
Two units from the Keraniganj Fire Service worked for nearly two hours to bring the fire under control.
