A fire that broke out at a Jhut warehouse in Tongi Millgate area in Gazipur district on Thursday morning was put out after much effort.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately, report UNB.
Mamunur Rashid, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the fire broke out around 5:30am at the Jhut warehouse and spread quickly.
On information, two fire-fighting units went to the spot and extinguished the blaze after one and a half hours.
No casualty was reported.
