The government has warned the public of ‘terrorist attacks’ in several places amid the non-cooperation movement led by student protesters demanding the resignation of the government.

A notification was issued by the prime minister’s press wing to this end on Sunday.

The warning came in the wake of countrywide violence during the ongoing movement, which claimed dozens of people on Sunday.

The notification said: “All students and parents are requested to return home safely. Terrorist attacks are happening in several places. Strict action will be taken against the terrorists.”

Anti-Discrimination Student Movement called for a nationwide non-cooperation movement from Sunday demanding the government’s resignation.
