Government raises age limit for public sector job applicants to 32

The government has decided to raise the age limit for applicants seeking government jobs in Bangladesh to 32 years. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus at his office in Tejgaon on Thursday. 

This change comes as part of ongoing efforts to expand employment opportunities for more citizens.  The previous age limit for entering into public sector jobs was 30, with an exception of 32 for the children of freedom fighters.
