Government swaps secretaries of textiles and telecom ministries

The government has reshuffled the top administrative positions in the Ministry of Textiles and Jute and the Posts and Telecommunications Division.

According to separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday, Textiles and Jute Secretary Bilquis Jahan Rimi has been transferred to the Posts and Telecommunications Division.

Abdun Naser Khan, whose regular tenure as the secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Division had come to an end, has been reappointed as the secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute on a one-year contract.

The reshuffle comes amid a broader wave of administrative changes and promotions within various ministries, government offices, autonomous bodies, and law-enforcing agencies following the formation of the new BNP-led government.

New administrators have also recently been appointed to several districts and city corporations as part of this ongoing transition.
