Govt officials get one month more to submit wealth statement

The deadline for submitting wealth statements by government officials and employees has been extended by a month until December 31 from November 30.
 
Senior Secretary of the ministry Md Mokhles Ur Rahman announced the decision at a press briefing held at the secretariat on Sunday.
 
"No one has submitted a wealth statement in the last 16 years. Many people do not understand how to submit it. Therefore, the time will be extended until December 31," he said.
 
A circular will be issued in this regard soon, he said.
