Govt plans introduction of one-stop service for tourism entrepreneurs

The government is actively considering to introduce a one-stop service for the tourism entrepreneurs to stop administrative harassments in this regard.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Md Mahbub Ali gave the information on Monday when he was replying a starred question made by treasury bench lawmaker AKM Rahmatullah in the parliament in Dhaka, reports BSS.

Mahbub informed that the government has taken initiative to build international standard tourism spots in Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Khulna and Bagerhat under Public Private Partnership (PPP) project to boost the tourism sector and attract local and international tourists and investors in the sector.

Besides, the government is implementing different programmes, including bringing the international tour operators in Bangladesh, exchanging views with local tour operators and increasing campaign in different countries about Bangladesh’s tourism spots, to develop the country’s tourism sector, he said.
