Govt shuts down operating theatre of Central Hospital after newborn’s death

The government has shut down the operating theatre at Central Hospital in Dhaka due to substandard intensive care and emergency services.

The Directorate General of Health Services announced the decision on Friday, a day after the arrest of two doctors of the hospital over the death of a newborn, reports bdnews24.com.
