Govt to make land management transparent: Sherif

The government is steadfast to make land management transparent and corruption free, said Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif.

"The government is working to ensure people's desired services in the land sector", said the minister.

Sherif said this while addressing a function as the Chief Guest at Kacharipara under Ishwardi upazila of Pabna, says a BSS report.

Later, the minister inaugurated the construction work of Poura Land Office Bhaban.

Ishwardi UNO Nasrin Akhter presided over the function. It was addressed, among others, by joint secretary of Land Ministry and project director of Union and Upazila land office construction project Mahabub Sahin, upazila chairman Muklesur Rahman and upazila engineer Enamul Kabir.
