Greater Kushtia Officers’ Welfare Forum holds reception for its new leadership

The Greater Kushtia Officers’ Welfare Forum organised a reception and introduction ceremony for the newly-elected advisory and executive committee for 2025-2026 term.

The forum, which is composed of officers originating from Kushtia, Meherpur, and Chuadanga, arranged the event at the auditorium of the Library and Archives Building in Agargaon in Dhaka on Saturday, according to a press statement.

Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman joined the event as the chief guest while former additional secretary Dr. Khondaker Rashedul Haque, who is the chief adviser of the forum, attended as special guest.

Secretary to Technical and Madrasa Education Division Dr. K. M. Kabirul Islam, who is the president of the forum, presided over the programme. Md. Moniruzzaman, Secretary General of the Greater Kushtia Officers’ Welfare Forum and additional secretary to the government was also present at that event.

The presidents of Meherpur and Chuadanga district chapters, along with many other distinguished personalities, also delivered their remarks during the event.

The primary purpose of this inauguration ceremony was to welcome the newly elected Executive Committee and Advisory Council.
