Omar bin Hadi, the brother of Sharif Osman bin Hadi, has filed a general diary (GD) at Dhaka's Shahbagh Police Station citing “security concerns”.
He lodged the police complaint around 8pm on Saturday without mentioning any names, citing “security concerns” for himself and Hadi’s children, said Shahbagh Police chief Md Moniruzzaman, bdnews24.com reports.
He believes Hadi’s killers may cause “unpleasant incidents” at any time since they have not been arrested.
Different types of propaganda are being spread through various social media groups to “tarnish the reputation” of his family, he alleged.
He said, “They are threatening to kill me. Thus, Shaheed Hadi’s children and I are suffering from insecurity.”
