Hasina, 23 others sued over killing of student

A case was filed against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 23 others on Wednesday over the killing of Foijul Islam Rajon, a student of Dhaka Model Degree College during anti-discrimination student protests.

After recording the statement of complainant, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ahmed Humayun Kabir asked the officer-in-charge of Kafrul Police Station to register the complaint as a first information report.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan are among the accused in the case filed by the elder brother of the deceased, Rajib.
