One of the key coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Hasnat Abdullah, who was injured in an attack by Ansar members on Sunday, has been transferred from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for advanced treatment.
He was taken to CMH at 2:30 pm on Monday, Brigadier General Md Asaduzzaman, the director of the DMCH confirmed the matter to the media.
Hasnat was critically injured after clashes broke out between students and Ansar members at the Secretariat in the capital on Sunday night.
