Three people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Sherpur upazila of Bogura district on Thursday morning.
Police said the head-on collision between two trucks took place on the Dhaka-Bogura Highway at College Road area, reports a news agency.
“Three people were killed on the spot,” said Gaziur Rahman, additional superintendent of (Dhunat-Sherpur) police circle.
One of the victims was identified as trucker Hafizul Islam, 35.
The injured were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
