The HSC and equivalent examinations, scheduled to be held on August 11, have been postponed indefinitely.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education issued an order to this effect on Wednesday.
The new schedule for the HSC and equivalent exams will be announced later, the order reads.
Syed A Z Morshed Ali, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry, signed the order, according to local media.
