Indian President Murmu wishes good health for President Shahabuddin

Indian President Droupadi Murmu has extended her greetings to Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin on his successful medical surgery and wished him the best of health and great success.

“I have been informed about your recent medical surgery, and I am pleased to know that you are recovering well post surgery,” read a message sent by the Indian President to her Bangladesh counterpart received in Dhaka today (Oct 21).

“On behalf of the government and the people of India, I take this opportunity to extend my good wishes to you. I pray for your continued good health and uplifted spirits in the days to come,” she wrote.

Wishing Shahabuddin the best of health and great success in his future endeavours, the Indian President wrote, “Please accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration”.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Wednesday underwent a cardiac bypass surgery at the National University Hospital in Singapore. The surgery was successful under the supervision of eminent cardiac surgeon Professor Kofidis Theodoros.
