Law adviser Asif Nazrul has said that victims injured in the plane crash at Milestone School and College in the capital's Uttara will be sent abroad for treatment if necessary.
He made the statement during a press briefing on Monday at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
The adviser described today as a tragic day in the nation’s history, stating that such an incident is unprecedented in recent memory.
“We don’t know if anything like this has ever happened before. We are all deeply shocked and speechless,” he said during the briefing.
“Doctors are making all necessary preparations for treatment. If it becomes necessary to send the injured abroad, that arrangement will also be made.”
He further informed that a national day of mourning has been declared for tomorrow.
“An investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the crash,” the law adviser added.
