Home Adviser Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has reiterated that they will make sure that no innocent person is harassed in the July uprising cases.
"We'll take measures as no innocent person is harassed. Only the miscreants will be exposed to justice," he said.
He made the remarks on Monday while replying to a question about the harassment of innocent people in the July uprising cases after coming out of a meeting on law and order ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha.
About the recent arrest of actress Nusrat Faria at the airport, the Home Adviser said that there is a case against her and its investigation is yet to be completed, reports BSS.
Replying to another question, Jahangir said, Bangladesh Jatio Party Chairman Andaleeve Rahman Parho's wife was not arrested as there was no case against her.
About travel restrictions in case of having cases, the Home Adviser said there is a policy about it, and the people who fall under the policy are being restricted from going abroad.
