Interim government appoints 25 additional judges to High Court

The interim government has appointed 25 additional judges to the High Court Division.

The law ministry issued a notification on Monday, following an order from the president.

The appointments will take effect for two years from the day they are sworn in.

Prior to this, the interim government appointed 23 additional judges to the High Court Division on Oct 8 of last year.

As per tradition, the newly appointed additional judges will be sworn in by Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed.
