Internet subscribers increase by 4.3m in one month

After a decrease of mobile internet subscribers in the country over five consecutive months, it started increasing from February.

In February, 1.17 million subscribers increased in one jump. The number of mobile internet subscribers in the country increased by 3.79 million in March, according to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

The information was published on the commission's website on Thursday (May 16). According to the published data, mobile internet subscribers in the country increased to 121.60 million in March. In the previous month i.e. February, the subscriber was 117.47 million.

As a result, mobile internet subscribers have increased by 3.79 million in a month.

Subscribers of ISP and PSTN internet have also increased. In February, the number of ISP subscribers was 102.8 million.

In March, the number of subscribers increased by 0.56 million. The number of subscribers of ISP and PSTN internet increased to 103.4 million this month.

Meanwhile, the total number of internet subscribers in the country has also increased due to the increase in mobile and ISP and PSTN internet subscribers.

In March, the total number of internet subscribers in the country increased to 134.7 million.

Earlier in February, the total number of subscribers was 133.5 million. As a result, internet subscribers in the country have increased by 4.3 million.
