JCD announces panel for RUCSU polls

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced its panel for the upcoming Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (RUCSU) elections.

According to the announcement, Sheikh Noor Uddin Abir, Vice-President of JCD's Rajshahi University branch and a student of the Department of Public Administration, has been nominated for vice president (VP). On the other hand, Nafiul Islam Jibon, Office Secretary and a student of the Department of Arabic, has been nominated for General Secretary (GS) and Zahin Biswas Esha, Joint General Secretary and a student of the Department of Music, has been nominated for Assistant General Secretary (AGS).

The announcement was made at a press conference on Sunday at the foot of the Shaheed Minar at Rajshahi University. President of the JCD's Rajshahi University branch Sultan Ahmed Rahi and Secretary General Sardar Zahurul were present, among others.

Other candidates include Nargis Khatun who will stand for sports secretary, Mahfuzur Rahman Shawon for assistant sports secretary, Abdullah Al Kafi for cultural secretary, Shahriar Alam Adhi for assistant cultural secretary, Swopna Akter for women's affairs secretary, Nusrat Ishita for assistant women's affairs secretary, Gazi Ferdous Hasan for information & research secretary, Redwanul Islam Hridoy for assistant information & research secretary, Rafayetul Islam Rabit for media & publications secretary, Noor Nabi for assistant media & publications secretary, Maruf Hossain for science & technology secretary, Naimul Islam Naeem for assistant science & technology secretary, Masum Billah for debate & literature secretary, Zisan Babu for assistant debate & literature secretary, AR Rafi Khan for environment & social service secretary, and Kunjashree Roy Sulagna (Shuvo) for assistant environment & social service secretary.
