Journalist ABM Musa's wife passes away

Setara Musa, the wife of veteran journalist ABM Musa, passed away today at the age of 83. 

She breathed her last while undergoing treatment with lung complications at Anwer Khan Modern Hospital in the city.

She left behind three daughters, a son and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death. 

Her first namaz-e -janaza held after Esha prayers at Iqbal Road Jame Masjid in Dhaka, reports BSS.

Her body will be taken to Feni tomorrow morning for burial after Zahr prayers beside the grave of her husband ABM Musa at Fatehpur village of Feni.

Setara Musa, daughter of eminent journalist Abdus Salam, was born in Cumilla in 1940. She did her master's in Bangla literature from Dhaka University. She worked for several newspapers, including the Daily Janata, the Dainik Awaz and now defunct the Dainik Purbakon.
 
Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad expressed deep shock at the death of Setara Musa. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to bereaved family members.
 
Jatiya Press Club president Farida Yasmin and general secretary Shayamol Dutta and Feni Journalists' Forum, Dhaka President Tanvir Aladin and general secretary Fayez Ullah Bhuiyan expressed deep shock at the death of Setara Musa. 
They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
