BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia returned to her residence in the capital’s Gulshan area on Tuesday afternoon after a 10-day stay at Evercare Hospital for treatment.
AZM Zahid Hossain, personal physician of the former prime minister, the doctors will continue her treatment at the residence.
Khaleda Zia was rushed to Evercare Hospital in an ambulance at around 3:30 am on June 22 after suddenly falling ill at her residence, ‘Firoza’ in Gulshan. She was promptly admitted to the CCU, where her medical treatment began under the supervision of a medical board.
During the 10-day stay at the hospital, a ‘permanent pacemaker’ was successfully implanted in her chest.
