Khaleda Zia’s advisor Latif no more

BNP Chairman's Advisory Council member Lt. Col. (Retd.) MA Latif Khan passed away yesterday at the capital's CMH Hospital due to old age complications.

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman expressed deep shock at the demise of Lt. Col. Khan.

In a condolence message, BNP Chairman said, "Lt. Col. MA Latif Khan was a patriotic politician. He had unwavering faith in the principles, ideals and Bangladeshi nationalist philosophy of martyred president Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam and the leadership of the national leader Late Begum Khaleda Zia. In his professional life, he was respected by everyone as an honest and sincere person. I am deeply saddened by his death."

BNP Chairman prayed for the eternal peace of Lt. Col. (Retd.) MA Latif Khan and expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved family and well-wishers.
