Khalid mourns deaths of five people at Sadarghat launch accident  

State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury on Thursday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the deaths of five people in a launch accident at Sadarghat Launch Terminal in the city.

In a message of condolence, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

He also wished quick recovered of the injured people.

The state minister said actions will be taken against those who are guilty.

Five people were killed and several others injured at Sadarghat Launch Terminal as the anchor rope of a launch severed and hit them on Thursday afternoon.
