A young man, who was injured in a clash over land at Bandakati village in Kaliganj upazila on Monday evening, died on the way to Dhaka early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Masud Hossain, 24, son of Monayem Hossain of the upazila.
Rajib Ahmed, inspector (investigation) of Kaliganj Police Station, said Masud's father Monayem locked into a clash with his brothers Moazzem Hossain, Mokarram Hossain and Abdul Aziz in the evening over land related dispute.
Masud sustained injuries during the clash, reports UNB.
He was admitted at Kaliganj Upazila health complex. As his condition deteriorated, doctors referred him to Dhaka.
Later, he died on the way to Dhaka succumbing to his injuries in early morning.
Police arrested Moazzem, Mokarram and Ashraful.
