The road communication between Bandarban and Thanchi has been disrupted after a landslide due to continuous rainfall.
The incident took place in the Katapahar area of Jiban Nagar after a chunk of earth fell on Thanchi road on Thursday morning.
As a result, several vehicles carrying passengers and goods were stuck on both sides of the road, according to local news portals.
Army and fire service personnel have reached the spot and they are working to clean the road.
Assistant Director of Fire Service Purnachandra Mutsuddi confirmed the matter to the media.
