A fire broke out in a launch named ‘MV Bangali’ in Dhaka’s Shyambar launch terminal on Monday afternoon.
The fire broke out at 12:55 pm and five firefighting units are currently working to bring the blaze under control, said Talha Bin Zasim, station officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters media cell.
There was no passenger in the launch at the time of the fire, he added.
