A fire has damaged a car owned by member of parliament Nasima Ferdousi on the road outside the High Court in Dhaka.
However, the lawmaker was not inside her car when it caught fire on Sunday afternoon.
DMP Assistant Commissioner (Ramna) Md Ahsan said technical glitches ignited the fire.
Fire fighters rushed to the scene from Phulbaria and put out the flames.
Ferdousi’s son Mahmudul Hasan Suman said the car was heading toward the Shikkha Bhaban, according to bdnews24.
“We got out of the car right after seeing the fire burning on the front side. It soon spread over the vehicle,” Suman said.
