Man found stabbed dead in truck he drives in Khagrachhari

Police have recovered the body of a truck driver inside the vehicle itself near the police station of Matiranga upazila in Khagrachhari.

It follows the finding by truck owner Nurul Amin only after he was rushed there after being informed by police on Saturday morning that his truck was lying some yards away.

He found the body with intestines falling off from its abdomen inside the truck cabin.

According to him, his driver Delowar went off with the truck on Friday and ever since did not return.

Matiranga Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge Jakir Hossain said, prima facie, the driver was stabbed to death, he said. “We are working to solve the case.”

The body has been sent to hospital for autopsy.
