A motorcycle rider was killed and another injured in a road accident at Madanergaon village in Faridganj upazila of Chandpur district on Thursday.
The deceased was Junaid Badsha Talukder, 45, son of Maulana Idris Talukder of Manikraj village of the upazila, reports BSS.
The accident took place around 10:30 am when a speedy motorcycle hit Junaid’s motorbike from opposite direction, leaving Junaid dead on the spot and another bike rider injured, said
Locals rescued the injured and sent him to Faridganj Upazila Health Complex.
Sub-Inspector of Faridganj Police Station Abu Taher confirmed the matter.
