A man has been stabbed to death over a suspected feud tied to cable TV business in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur.
The murder occurred in the Chan Miah Housing area around 1:00am on Thursday, said Mohammadpur Police Station Inspector Md Hafizur Rahman, reports bdnews24.com.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Md Tasir, who was declared dead by doctors at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
“We have learned that he worked at a cable TV business. Our initial investigation indicates that he may have been killed in a feud involving the business,” said Rahman.
Locals told police that Tasir’s attackers were ‘known criminals’.
Police have information about the murderers but will not be releasing it due to the ongoing investigation, said Rahman.
