Layla Kaniz, wife of former NBR official Matiur Rahman and the chairman of Narsingdi's Raipura Upazila council, has sought the withdrawal of the overseas travel ban imposed on her and other family members.
She submitted a petition before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Mohammad As-shams Jaglul Hossain through a lawyer on Sunday.
A hearing on the petition will be held on July 27.
