Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9:00 am.
“Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal & Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal & Chattogram divisions,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BS,S citing the bulletin.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was 35.5 degrees Celsius in Narsingdi, while today’s minimum temperature was 23.4 degrees Celsius in Tangail.
The sun sets at 6:43 pm today and rises at 5:27 am tomorrow in the capital.
