Metro rail operations have resumed after being suspended for more than an hour on Saturday evening due to a technical glitch.
Thousands of commuters faced long waits at metro stations after the services abruptly stopped around 7pm.
The metro rail authorities made announcements at the stations at around 7:30 pm, advising passengers in a rush to seek alternative transport.
Passengers were also informed that they would receive refunds for their tickets.
Following the abrupt suspension of metro rail services, a number of passengers took to social media to express their frustration.
