Mild earthquake jolts Chattogram  

A mild earthquake shook different parts of Chattogram district and its adjoining Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Feni districts on Sunday morning.

The tremor, measuring 4.9 magnitude on the Richter scale, was felt around 8:58am, said the Met Office adding that the epicentre of the earthquake was Mijoram border area.

However, no damage or casualty was reported by the tremor till filing of the report.
