Mild heat wave sweeping over Pabna, Chuadanga, Khulna, Patuakahli, Bagerhat

A mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Pabna, Chuadanga, Khulna, Patuakahli and Bagerhat.

However, the 24-hour forecast, issued by Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), also hinted that it may abate from some places.

Apart from this, the forecast said rain/thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions.

Trough of low extended from Bihar to North Bay across West Bengal and Southwestern part of Bangladesh persists, it said.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, as per the bulletin.

In its 72-hour weather outlook, it said rainfall activity may increase.
