The fire that broke out in a filling station in the capital's Mohakhali area came under control after half an hour of efforts.
The fire originated in Eureka Filling Station beside Retired Armed Forces Officers' Welfare Association (RAOWA) at Mohakhali around 7:18 pm today, the duty officer of the Fire Control Room said, BSS reports.
Eleven firefighting engines rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control around 7:47 pm.
The cause behind the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately.
None was, however, hurt in the fire.
