The government has appointed Md Mokhlesur Rahman as Senior Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) on a contractual basis for the next two years.
Mr Rahman has been appointed as per Section 49 of the Government Service Act 2018. The appointment would be effective from the date of joining, according to an official notification issued by MOPA in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Mazbah Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, the incumbent Senior Secretary to the ministry, has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
