Awami League MP from Barishal-1 constituency Abul Hasanat Abdullah is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka.
He was admitted to the Square Hospital with respiratory problem, said Advocate Talukdar Mohammad Yunus, general secretary of Awami League’s Barishal unit, reports UNB.
Later, he was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital following breathing complications.
The authorities concerned of the hospital took his samples for Covid-19 test but his report came out negative, he said.
Doctors are closely observing him as he is also suffering from cardiovascular disease, said Advocate Talukdar.
