Muhammad Khasru no more

Muhammad Khasru, who pioneered the film society movement in Bangladesh, passed away on Tuesday at a city hospital. He was 70.

He had contributed to the movement spanning over five decades by playing many roles including writer, editor and organiser, reports bdnews24.com.

Khasru had been suffering from heart and lung conditions and breathed his last at BIRDEM Hospital at 1:00pm, Belayet Hossain Mamun, president of Moviyana Film Society, said.
