A truck driver was killed and his two helpers were injured in a head-on collision between two trucks on Mymensingh-Kishoreganj road at Ramgopalpur in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh on Friday morning.
The deceased could not be identified immediately, reports UNB.
Delwar Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Gouripur Police Station, said the accident took place when a goods-laden truck hit another one around 5:45am, leaving the driver of one truck dead on the spot.
The traffic on the road was disrupted following the accident.
