A woman was killed and 15 others injured, including three with bullets, in a clash between residents of two villages over establishing supremacy at Char Syedabad area in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi on Monday.
The clash began around 5:00 am and sporadic fighting is still ongoing, according to local sources.
The deceased was identified as Momena Begum (45), wife of Akhtar Hossain from Saidabad village.
Those who suffered bullet wounds were identified as Tazu (38), son of Motaleb Mia from Saidabad village; Kofil Uddin (55), son of the late Kalu Mia; and Rana (20), son of Alam Mia.
The names of the others are yet to be known.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
