New US Chargé d’affaires meets foreign adviser Touhid Hossain

New Chargé d’affaires of the US Embassy in Dhaka, Ambassador Tracey Ann Jacobson, met for the first time with Adviser for Foreign Affairs Md Touhid Hossain and Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin, respectively, on Monday.

During the discussions, they discussed shared interests and priorities between the United States and Bangladesh, according to a spokesperson from the US Embassy.

Ambassador Jacobson underscored the strong partnership between our two countries and reaffirmed support for the interim government's efforts to chart a prosperous and democratic path for the Bangladeshi people.
